Calista Flockhart is an American actress. She is best known for portraying the title character on the Fox television series Ally McBeal, for which she received a Golden Globe Award in 1998 and was thrice nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
